Hey guys, I wanted to comment on directives we take as we serve. That our service is for God and requires communication with our God, with our Lord and supervisor as we would ask a boss or mentor. Here is a small experience I had with adding some multimedia ideas.
–God has done the work
I find myself rushing and maybe even upset with creating ideas that seem all spectacular but don’t pan out. However, I discover my need to look deeper, to see beyond myself and discover something more. I tried to put a table for display after service and after many miscalculated roadblocks, I discipline myself not to indulge in despair as though my life belonged to me, but to see what God is speaking. I continue to serve as I see God call, but slow down to see that the little kids who are approaching my display and computer are not just annoying distractions, but people who listen and who bring me joy.
